Welcome to ‘Raising the Bar on the Future of Pilates’ Podcast.
In this podcast, me and my special guests are going to be sharing with you the things that have worked in our businesses, the failures and setbacks, the aha moments, and the hard work that goes into following your passion for helping people move and feel better with Pilates.
Running a Pilates business is so much more than following your passion and hoping for the best. It takes hard work, tenacity and a commitment to staying true to your vision.
We’ll be diving deep into the barriers that might be holding you back: Self doubt, perfectionism, fear of failure and lack of resources as well as celebrating the amazing self development and personal growth that comes from running your own business.
I can’t wait to dive deep with you into the real deal of owning and operating a Pilates business with my friends and colleagues from around the Pilates world.
And don’t forget to subscribe to our podcast to stay up to date with the latest!

Solo Show with Kim… Taking Time Off from you business to Revitalise Your Creative Spark
Episode 10
Welcome back to Raising the Bar on the Future of Pilates Podcast!
I'm doing something a little different today by putting up my first solo show. This show was inspired by taking some time out from my studio business last week to rest and strategise for the year ahead.
I've had my Pilates studio, The Pilates Studio Blackwood for close to 10 years now and let me tell you, in the first few years of my business, I took too little time away from my business and ended up burnt out from the experience, in a big way!
I don't want that to be you, so I hope this inspires you to book some time off for yourself - for me, it's always a huge return on investment to step away and be able to get some perspective and think creatively about the future of my business.
I'd love to know what you thought of the episode and what topics you'd like to hear me talk more about in the future.
I'd also love for you to head over to my website, www.kimpaxtoncoaching.com and sign up for my weekly (ish) newsletter to stay up to date with the latest podcast episodes and my musings on all things Pilates, running a Pilates business and keeping the bar high for the future of the industry.
